Adriatic Golf Club

Cervia's Adriatic Golf Club, which is the most important Golf Club of the Riviera Romagnola, is situated in the hinterland of Milano Marittima, few kilometres far from Lido di Savio. Provided with modern equipment and first-class services and facilities, it is often the venue for important national and international competitions.

Adriatic Golf Club was inaugurated in 1984, almost thirthy years ago. It was created to foster the tourist offer of Cervia and the Lidos of Ravenna while turning a renowned seaside resort into one of the Italian capitals of golf. In 2004, thanks to the support of the major tour operators of the Riviera, the Golf Club underwent extensive renovation work and was remodelled and enlarged. Today, it gathers 27 holes which are distributed over 100 hectares, and develops across a lush territory which is surrounded by Classe's Pinewood Forest and peppered with plenty of both natural and artificial lakes.

The Golf Club was designed by the famous golfer Baldovino Dassù and the architects Marco Croze and Alvise Rossi according to both traditional canons and innovative ideas. 9 holes were designed according to the traditional model of Scottish links, while 9 further holes were modelled according to North American influences, and gather plenty of water hazards. The latest nine holes are the most original ones and feature a very peculiar design. As a result, the 27 total holes are subdivided into three different paths, the red, blue and yellow ones respectively.

Apart from gathering holes and competition course, Adriatic Golf Club also offers numerous complementary services and facilities. Beginners will have the possibility to exercise in the Golf Academy, which comprises some indoor posts, 3 putting greens, 2 chipping greens, a practice course, a practice bunker and a 3-hole executive path. Golfers will also have the possibility to relax in the inner bar, restaurant and pro shop. Not to be missed are the exclusive services of golf cart, club and bag hire.
